Manchester Centre for
Research in Linguistics

The Manchester Centre for Research in Linguistics is a vibrant centre that sits within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, with strong links across the University.  It is home to a group of researchers who explore language in public and private use. We share a goal of improving communication and understanding between individuals, communities, and wider society through public engagement and knowledge exchange. Our research is rigorous, impactful, transformative and socially relevant to everyday experiences outside of academia.
